X-Crash Version 6.3 with more Analysis Features

The measX software X-Crash for evaluating vehicle safety tests is continuously adapted and improved to meet international crash regulations and assessment methods.
The last update 6.3 can now be used in conjunction with DIAdem 2017 and contains new evaluations for the increased test requirements of NCAP evaluation programs for new vehicles.

NI awards Technical Innovation Award to ADAS iiT

Radolfzell, Wangen im Allgäu, Troisdorf, Mönchengladbach, (PresseBox) - National Instruments (NI) has honored the “ADAS iiT Consortium– Innovation in Test” with its 2018 Technical Innovation Award.
The prize is awarded to partner companies who employ new NI technologies at an early stage, thereby reflecting their roles as early adopters who promote innovation in particular. The four partner companies in the ADAS iiT Consortium have pooled their expertise to create a unique one-stop solution for simulating and validating Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for autonomously operated vehicles.

Re-certification of ISO standard successful

measX as a company continously improves its quality system. This was approved with letter and seal by TÜV Rheinland recently. The QM Certificate ISO9001:2015 is issued and valid for the next two years.

During the re-certification audit executed on 16th and 17th of January 2018 the complete quality management (QM) system and especially the transition of the QM documention system according the current ISO Standard 9001:2015 was reviewed comprehensively.

New Hardware Drivers for DASYLab 2016

The recent update of the Easy-to-use-Software DASYLab 2016 has had impacts on hardware drivers. Now the DASYLab 2016 drivers for the HBM-Measurement-Data-Acquisition-Systems QuantumX, SomatXR and MGCplus were refreshed.

Created to build own DASYLab modules the „Extension Toolkit“ enables third parties to develop drivers which leverages the new features in DASYLab 2016. Add-on-Drivers, often implemented by the hardware manufacturer, are updated step by step.

DASYLab 2016 Service Pack 1 released

With Service Pack 1 DASYLab 2016 improves again. This free update contains minor changes and interesting new features.

In particular, the DASYLab 2016 Service Pack 1 provides some extensions for the state machine module. This module has been available since DASYLab 2016 and is a highlight of the current version. With it, complex test sequences can be implemented into a few modules. The conditions for state transitions can now be linked even more flexibly, and resetting the module is now simply possible.

Optional SUFEHM Evaluation in X-Crash

The model-based evaluation according to the finite element head model of the University of Strasbourg (SUFEHM) allows much more differentiated statements than the standard HIC for the potential injury of the head and brain.

The option Advanced HIC for X-Crash is based on this model. It also takes into account the relationship between the crash-related linear and rotational accelerations of the head for a defined time interval.

Development of test solutions in the area of advanced driver assistance systems

Four National Instruments Alliance Partners are pursuing a joint strategy for the development of testing solutions in the area of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) to help accelerate development programs for fully autonomous vehicles.

Radolfzell, Wangen, Troisdorf and Mönchengladbach, Germany, 21 March 2017. The companies Konrad Technologies GmbH, SET GmbH, S.E.A. Datentechnik GmbH and measX GmbH & Co. KG have established the cooperative project ADAS IIT - Innovation In Test and are utilizing their skills in the area of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), sensor fusion, hardware-in-the-loop (HiL), V2X communication, GNSS simulation and data management to offer single-source solutions for fully autonomous vehicles.
